outfit #8 - feeling retro

While cleaning my room with my older sister, we talked about how we want to go thrift store shopping and get some casual skirts. While looking through our closet, we came across 2 skirts both bought at a thrift store. So, of course, I tried it on, and decided that I would totally wear it, if it was a tad bit shorter. I showed it to my mom, and she loved it, and convinced me that the length that is was looked good. And now I love it. Below is the skirt (and don't mind all white marks on the sweater vest and skirt, just a dirty mirror.
Above:
white shirt: hand-me down
sweater-vest: hand-me down
skirt: thrift store
belt: my mother's
boots: famous footwear
I love the dress above. I tried it on about a year or two ago, and it didn't fit me, so today I decided to try it on again. Thankfully, it fit. The history behind the dress: It was my grandmother's when she was in her young adult years. The designs on the dress are bee-hives and bees, which is pretty cute.
The outfit above:
dress: big time hand-me down [grandma]
cardigan: had it forever
belt: mother's
boots: famous footwear.
which would you be more likely to wear?
