My one word for this upcoming year never came. I thought about it, looked for it, and tried to understand why I couldn't find it. I now know why. Instead, in its place, is a quote. A powerful quote.

It has so much meaning behind it, mainly because it is so true. We go to church every week, thinking it will change us, but it is ourselves who have to change, and do acts of obedience. Obedience to the Lord our God, is necessary for us as Christians. This year, I will think about this quote as I make different decisions throughout this year.

That quote is so true! We think that our outward actions are what will change us, when in reality, it's the inward acts of obedience.
